Faith Formation

The St. Mary’s Syro Malabar Catholic Forane Church teaches Catechism from Pre-K to 12th Grade

Mission: To teach the Syro Malabar Catholic faith in partnership with parents, the primary educators of their children. The journey of faith begins at Baptism and calls for children to actively participate with their parents in the full life of our Catholic Church. In order, for this journey to enrich the lives of everyone involved, each catechist, parent, and student must understand and embrace his/her role.

The mission of the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) Program is to bring Christ to his people and bring his people to the realization that they are the Church. We accomplish this by teaching the love of God and sharing our faith throughout the grades from pre-school through high school. CCD is an association established in Rome in 1562 for the purpose, of giving religious education to the society. It’s modern usage is a religious, education program of the Roman Catholic Church, designed for children. Our CCD school is very fortunate to have dedicated and talented staff and supportive parents.
